The Ceylon Bible Society was able to distribute Holy Bibles, during their Distribution Mission to Kalpitiya, Puttalam & Chilaw which was done by the CBS Distribution team on 11th January 2022.

Our team had the opportunity to meet many Christian believers who live in those areas.

CBS donated Tamil & Sinhala New Testaments to the people who are unable to purchase a Holy Bible. That mission was implemented under ‘EVERY HOME THE WORD’ free Bible Distribution Project.

We made special visit to the Christian believers who live with a challenging life style in Bathalangunduwa Island.

Bathalangunduwa is a small Island off the coast of Kalpitiya in the Puttalam District of the North Western Province of Sri Lanka.

It takes about 3 hours to travel from Kalpitiya Jetty to Bathalangunduwa.

Rev. Brother Susiru Prashan, who is serving in the Bathalangunduwa Holy Cross Church, said that the Ceylon Bible Society took a great step to develop the spiritual lives of Bathalangunduwa Christian Believers.
