It was a great occasion for the Ceylon Bible Society to organize this event of distributing the Scholarly Edition in collaboration with the German Bible Society.
Book Review 1 was made Prof. Shirley Lal Wijesinghe, Senior Professor of Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya, and Book Review 2 was by Dr. Ajith Fernando.
The Books were distributed by Mr. Eraj Wijesinghe President of the Ceylon Bible Society, Mr. Y. Casie Chetty, Vice President of the CBS, and the General Council Members Rev. Shirley Faber and Dr. Ms. Shanthi Wilson, and also Rev. Rohitha de Silva, member of the Translation Committee of the Ceylon Bible Society.
Christian Faculty of the University of Kelaniya, William Carey Institute, CTS Kohuwala, Calvin Seminary,m AOG Bible College, LBC Dehiwela, Tulana Research Centre, Aquinas Institute, Dewa Dharma Nikethanaya were all represented.
