A certificate awarding ceremony for the teachers of Ave Maria Convent Negombo was organize on the 22nd of August 2019 with the participation of the General Secretary of the Ceylon Bible Society. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Nihal Silva Facilitator- Healing the Wounds of Trauma Classic (Adult’s Training), Mr. Roshan Fernando Training Facilitator (Adult’s Training), and Rev. Fr. P. Claude N. Nonis Director- Archdiocesan Family Apostolate. During this ceremony most of the teachers shared their experiences on the Easter Sunday terrorist attack at Katuwapitiya. Now these teachers are ready to heal the traumatized people in their respective Churches and help those students who are traumatized.
