The Ceylon Bible Society organized a special meeting for the Christian deaf people in Sri Lanka on Saturday, 06th of October 2018 at 9.00 am at the Ceylon Bible Society board room.
The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss the needs of the deaf people and do the initial planning of Sri Lanka Christian Sign language Bible translation project.
Clergy, Reverend Sisters, School teachers and Pastors from Deaf link, YMCA Batticaloa, School for the Deaf , Ratmalana, St.Joseph Deaf School, Ragama & Church of South India participated in this meeting.
We thank all the participants for being with us on that day and shared their experiences with us.
