An orientation programme & the Bible History Exhibition was organized by the Ceylon Bible Society on the 15th of September 2018 at the CBS Auditorium for the Children & Youth of the Christ Church Galle Face with the request of Rev. Wilson Gnanadass– Parish Priest,Christ Church,Galle Face.
There were about 20 participants. Opening prayer was done by Mrs. Shiromi Edirisooriya Executive Secretary- Membership, The introduction video of the Ceylon Bible Society was shown to the participants in English & Tamil. Mr.Wilakshitha Mendis – Senior Manager, HR Admin & Programmes introduced the staff who were present. Mrs. Shiromi Edirisooriya explained to the participants about the CBS Membership. Following the introduction a video on Mary Jones was shown to them. Mr Heshantha Fernando, Manager, Bible translations explained briefly about the Bible translations on a power point presentation. Mr. Rohan Felsinger, Curator Bible History Exhibition explained the exhibition and its content to the participants in details. All those who came for the programme enjoyed the Bible History Exhibition.
