The Ceylon Bible Society in partnership with the Trauma Healing Ministry unit of the American Bible Society has implemented the above programme to train the trainers in Sri Lanka.
Thus far we have concentrated on the general programmes, but it had become evident that we need a special programme for children. The Ceylon Bible Society has started this programme today 09th August 2018 at “Lasallian Community Education Service Centre, No – 25 & 51 , Temple Road, Colombo 15 with the participation of some special invitees.
The Special invitees those who were present were Rev. Priyantha Wijegoonawardene, General Secretary of the Ceylon Bible Society, Mr. Eraj Wijesinghe ,the President of the Ceylon Bible Society, Mrs. Lakshani P.Fernando- Former General Secretary of the Ceylon Bible Society , Reverends and Reverend Sisters , Lay persons representing Churches & organizations and Bible Society staff members.
Rev. Fr. Claude Nonis – National Director , Family Apostolate & Master Facilitator in HWOT Children’s TH Sri Lanka & Mrs. Pathmaseele Gunatilake, Master Facilitator in HWOT Children’s TH Sri Lanka & Sunday school Teacher, St. Peter’s Church, Koralawella, Moratuwa will be conducting the programme.
