There was a requirement for 35 families who were left without help and was stuck in the Hall of the Kotikawatte Baptist Church due to the Kelani River overflowing its lower banks.

The Welfare association of the Ceylon Bible Society decided to donate cleaning equipment & chemicals to all those affected. (Some of them were non-Christians). Through the Church priest on the 25th of May 2016 CBS staff visited the Church and distributed the Aid we had collected.
